10 Day Gorilla & Wildlife Uganda Adventure Safari
Experience an abundance of gorilla & wildlife, scenery, cultural community experiences on this dream safari to Uganda. For most people mountain Gorilla trekking and Chimpanzee tracking are the highlight of this safari. There are amazing opportunities of seeing numerous animals like the big Cats, hippos, buffaloes, leopard, elephants, and several species of birds. Itenerary
Day 1: Meet and Greet – 2 Friends Hotel
Our guide – Driver will meet you at 2 Friends Hotel in the late afternoon hours where he will give you a detailed briefing about your 10 Day Safari trip and the set off time for tomorrow. Have a Night rest at 2 Friends Hotel. – Meal Plan Bed and Breakfast
Day 2: Entebbe – Kibale National Park
Have morning breakfast, check out of hotel and you will there after start the road trip to Kibale National park making a few stop over en-route for lunch and photo moments. Late afternoon arrival at the lodge, check in and prepare to have dinner and Night rest at Chimpanzee guest house. Meal plan – Lunch and Dinner
Day 3: Chimpanzee Tracking – Bigodi Community Nature Walk
Early morning breakfast and we will drive to the briefing point. You will start with a briefing from the ranger guide about your chimp trek. On your trek, you might have sightings of red-tailed monkeys, black-and white Columbus monkeys, butterflies, and birds calling from the canopies. With the help of your ranger guide, you will locate the chimps. Enjoy picture moments and watch them as they play, groom, and feed. After lunch visit Bigodi swamp – a community project known for its rich diversity of birds and primates depending on the availability of time. Dinner and Overnight at Chimpanzee guest Lodge. Day 4: Kibale National Park – Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, take a three-hour road drive to Queen Elizabeth National park via the Kasese area, famous for the great Rwenzori Mountains and the crater lakes. Take lunch and relax at the Lodge as you enjoy the scenic view of this game park before you end your day in an adventurous style with a well guided nature-community walk to the twin crater lakes. Day 5: Extended Game Drive and Boat Cruise
We will wake up for an early morning game drive in search for the animals in their various habitats. While on this early morning game drive, expect to see various animal species like Hippos, elephants, Antelopes, Cats and different bird species. Have lunch and later in the afternoon take a boat-ride on Kazinga Channel to see birds, semi- and aquatic animals that rely on the channel for their livelihood. Day 6: Queen Elizabeth – Ishasha Sector
Have Morning Breakfast, check out of lodge and transfer to Ishasha Section of the Queen Elizabeth in search of the tree climbing lions often to be seen in the vicinity of the camp which is situated just off the Northern circuit game viewing track. Later, utilize the network of park trails to explore more of the scenic beauty and rich wildlife of this remote parkland. Dinner and Overnight at Jungle Safari lodge Lodge. B.L.D
Day 7: Ishasha – Bwindi impenetrable National Park
Have morning breakfast, checkout of lodge with packed lunch and we transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest National Park. Late evening arrival, check in the lodge in preparation for the next day encounter with the Mountain Gorillas. Overnight at Rushaga Gorilla Camp. Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and dinner.
Day 8: Gorilla Trekking and Batwa community experience
Today is the long awaited day! Early morning preparations for the activity, pack lunch, attend briefing by the Ranger-guide, get hold of a walking stick and follow the Ranger to the Sanctuary. Maximum time allowed with the fascinating Gorillas is one hour. Spend the rest of the evening visiting the Batwa community and return to your lodge for dinner and Overnight at Rushaga Gorilla lodge Meal Plan B.L.D
Day 9: Bwindi – Lake Bunyonyi
Have morning breakfast, check out of lodge and we transfer to Lake Bunyonyi arriving later in the afternoon. Check in, have lunch and later we do a boat cruise where we get to visit several islands on this lake. Return in time for dinner, camp fire and Night rest at Arcadia Safari lodge. B.L.D
Day 10: Lake Bunyonyi – Entebbe
Have morning breakfast, check out and we embark on a road drive to Entebbe making several stop over en route for lunch and photo experience at the Uganda Equator. We later drive direct to Entebbe and our driver will drop you at the airport in time for your flight back home after a memorable Safari experience in Uganda the Pearl of Africa Meal Plan- Breakfast and Lunch
